By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, do not use the Service.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Dronelytics Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

(a) Account Information. When you create an account, we receive information from your OAuth authentication provider (Apple, Google, or GitHub), including your name and email address. We do not collect or store passwords.

(b) User Content. We collect and store the content you create within the Service, including drone missions, waypoints, polygon survey areas, grid survey configurations, flight logs, notes, drone profiles (including make, model, serial number, and camera specifications), and any other data you input.

(c) Payment Information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription status, plan type, and billing dates. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, bank account number, or other complete payment instrument details.

(d) Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including: pages and features accessed, actions taken within the mission planner (such as creating missions, generating grid surveys, and exporting files), session duration and frequency, and referring URLs.

(e) Device and Technical Information. We collect technical information from your browser and device, including: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, time zone, and language preferences.

(f) Location Data. We do not collect precise GPS location from your device. However, your User Content may contain geographic coordinates (mission waypoints, polygon vertices, home points) that you voluntarily input into the Service. We may also infer your approximate location from your IP address for the purpose of providing relevant map views.

(g) Communications. If you contact us for support or provide feedback, we collect the content of those communications along with your email address and any other information you choose to provide.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

(a) Providing the Service. To operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the Service, including storing your missions, generating grid surveys, producing exported files, rendering map views, computing flight statistics, and generating PDF flight reports.

(b) Account Management. To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and enforce our Terms of Service.

(c) Billing. To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send billing-related communications.

(d) Communications. To send you transactional communications related to your account (such as password resets, billing receipts, and service notifications), and to respond to your support requests. We may also send promotional communications about new features or offerings, from which you may opt out at any time.

(e) Improvement and Analytics. To monitor and analyze usage trends, diagnose technical issues, and improve the Service. This includes analyzing aggregated, de-identified data about how missions are planned, which export formats are used, and which features are most utilized.

(f) Safety and Security. To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity, and to protect the security and integrity of the Service.

(g) Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

(a) Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including authentication, payment processing, hosting and infrastructure, map data and satellite imagery, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by obligations of confidentiality.

(b) Shared Missions. When you generate a shareable mission link, the recipient can view a read-only copy of the mission data associated with that link, including waypoints, altitude, speed, and other mission parameters. We do not include your name, email, or account information in shared mission links. You control when and with whom you share links.

(c) Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (i) comply with applicable law or a court order; (ii) protect the rights, property, or safety of PDXT, LLC, our users, or the public; (iii) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (iv) enforce our Terms of Service.

(d) Business Transfers. If PDXT, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Service before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

(e) Aggregated and De-Identified Data. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for purposes such as industry analysis, research, or service improvement.
